Art-for-All

Bring your imagination and come to The River House for an afternoon of creativity!  We provide the materials, you provide the inspiration.  Every Saturday The River House offers opportunities to participate in art activities that are fun for all ages!    July 1 Art-for-All activity: Join us for an art activity that celebrates the symbolism and significance of flags.  We will be making ribbon flags!  Get creative and enjoy making a flag that represents your heritage, your life, or your home. Come to The River House and make your own unique flag to fly at home. Did you know that the colors in the American flag are symbolic?  White symbolizes purity and innocence, red- hardiness and valor, and blue- vigilance, perseverance, and justice.  Our flag has changed throughout the centuries but the meaning of the symbols have stayed consistent.  The stars represent each state and the stripes represent the original 13 colonies.     FREE EVENT
