Along the banks of the Cacapon River, you’ll find a little orange house filled with a community inspired by the arts. Step inside our Art Café, where you’re greeted with warm smiles, the aroma of freshly brewed West Virginia–roasted coffee, and the taste of seasonal food specials made with care.
Stay awhile to enjoy our rotating gallery and artist consignment spaces, and explore your own creativity by making table art or trying out our wall of instruments.
Our indoor and outdoor stages host performances that bring people together; from live music and storytelling, to open mics and festivals. Through free and low-cost programming like our weekly Art-for-All program and monthly volunteer-led clubs, we invite everyone to create, learn, and connect. Surrounded by a talented community of artists, musicians, and makers, inspiration is never far away.
We look forward to meeting you, sharing stories, and hearing what inspires you. Because at The River House, every visit, every meal, and every shared song strengthens the creative spirit that connects us all.
