Herbal Cordials: Holiday season will soon be upon us and herbal cordials are great for celebrating, gifting and helping relieve the stress that comes along amidst it all. We will learn how to make an herbal cordial, taste some pre-made mixes and discuss the healing properties of the herbs used. If you do not consume alcohol, non-alcoholic options are available. For those wishing to start a cordial of their own please bring $10-15 donation to cover the cost of the supplies (jars, herbs, alcohol). Local herbalist, Meaghan Thompson, will be facilitating this club event.
Garlic Tasting: Dave Willis will be sharing about all things Garlic! After we taste garlic prepared different ways, we will learn the history, health benefits, how different varieties are made and fun facts about garlic. Dave will also tell us how to grow garlic and where we can access more information.
Are there wines that pair well with garlic? Bring your taste buds and find out! And no worry, there will be plenty of garlic for sale.
The River House Herb Club is free and everyone is welcome!   (donations appreciated)
