Poetry Afternoon

Join local poet, John Berry for an afternoon of poetry - virtually!

This month we are delighted to feature Tamar Samuel-Siegel, A dynamic and vibrant poet and performer currently living and teaching in New Jersey.

With a background in public programming in literacy and the arts, Tamar has hand-published two short-run chapbooks, “Enough For Now” and “Where We Come From”. She also edited three collections of writing by students of English language in the United States and Israel, and co-edited a project by Foothills Publishing, “The Sexuality Poems”. A featured poet in a variety of venues in Western NY, Tamar was also featured on The Sock Drawer Poetry Series on WinLife TV in Winchester Va. This summer she has been mentoring a young cohort of mixed media, digital storytellers, documenting life during the pandemic in Newark NJ.

An open mic will follow after Tamar’s reading.
