Come meet July's featured gallery artist, Rosalie Haizlett.

She will be in the gallery before her watercolor workshop to meet you, answer any questions, and show you her gallery display!

"I've been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. My desire to become an illustrator led me to a pursue a degree in graphic design and illustration at a small liberal arts college, an illustration and editorial design internship at USA Today Magazines, an illustration internship with Whirl Magazine, and a year-long Emerging Artist Fellowship with the Tamarack Foundation for the Arts.

I am most inspired by the landscape of West Virginia where I grew up and still reside. I am currently working in Charleston, WV as a freelance food & nature illustrator and creating several lines of illustrated paper goods, including a Mushrooms of West Virginia series and a Tiny Worlds of West Virginia series." - Rosalie
