The River House Writer’s Club is a monthly informal gathering for all genres of writing including poetry, short stories, prose and so much more. Each month, the club meets to discuss each other’s writings and develop friendships.
Visiting Author: Christie Green, author of Paws for a Moment.
About the Author: Inspired and enlightened by companion animals and all of nature, Christie Green chooses to live her life in celebration of simplicity. In doing so she's found "ordinary" doesn't need anything extra to be spectacular. Christie's been an award-winning journalist and copywriter, as well as an essayist, and more recently, a poet. Paws for a Moment is her debut collection. When not writing or doodling in her studio, she can be found (probably writing or doodling) outside, practicing qigong, or tending to her current two beloved dogs, Whiskey and Rex. Her roots are planted at the top end of Virginia's Shenandoah Valley.
