Special Guest Tony M. Music
Tony was an elementary school teacher for 11 years. He taught 1st, 3rd, and 4th grades and worked as a behavioral coach for five years in grades 3rd-5th.
In 2014, he became a full time professional musician and plays on average, over 175 shows/year in libraries, schools, and family events. He also offers workshops for teachers looking to implement music in their classroom. Tony has been writing music since 2003. He now performs his original school programs to thousands of children. Along with integrating music, literature, and storytelling, Tony’s programs also promote positive mental health, growth mindset, and are interactive, educational, and fun!
The River House Writer’s Club is a monthly informal gathering for all genres of writing including poetry, short stories, prose and so much more. Each month, the club meets to discuss each other’s writings and develop friendships.
Every other month, the club hosts an established writer who shares their experiences and suggestions with the group. We continue to grow in attendance and look forward to new opportunities in the future. In the past few months, we have been invited to attend book festivals and these events have been invaluable to the club.
Our mission is to foster creative writing on all levels. Everyone is welcome to participate or just come out and listen.
This club meets the 3rd Sunday of each month from 1-3:00pm and we cannot wait to see you there!
