Join us for a lecture on the history of the Appalachian craft of bark baskets. After a brief cafe break, join us for a workshop on how to make a small and simple bark basket of your own using only tulip poplar bark and minimal tools! (Kids are welcome to hang out and experience the process with us but we will only be doing one bark basket per adult as use of a knife is required- limit of 15 students so we have enough supplies!

The lecture is FREE but the workshop is $35 per person with a limit of 15 participants. Please register in advance online or in the cafe.
