Pull out that favorite recipe, dust off the big ol’ chili pot, and throw your hat in the ring!

People’s Choice
We’re looking for 15 chili-loving chefs to bring 6–8 quarts of premade chili and a Crock-Pot. We’ll provide the bowls, spoons, and all the fixings.
This is our annual fall fundraiser, and your $25 entry does more than put chili on the table. It helps keep kids creating, musicians playing, artists teaching, and neighbors gathering at The River House throughout the year, with programs that are free or low-cost and open to our community.
Bring your secret recipe, your family favorite, or the chili everyone begs you to make. We’ll bring the music, autumn air, friendly competition, and a whole lot of good!

Chili Tasting
Come hungry and taste your way through the competition. Sample aaaaall the chili then use your ticket for a full bowl of your favorite with your choice of fixings and cast your vote for People’s Choice!
Every ticket helps put paintbrushes in kids’ hands, music in the air, artists in our gallery, and neighbors around the table at our little orange house all year long.
Tickets: $25 per person or 4 tickets for $75
Alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.

Enjoy live music from The River House Old Time Jam, place your bids in the Silent Auction featuring the work of incredible local artists, and much on some corn bread while you destroy your friends in a game of corn hole!
The Schedule
11 AM — Chili Chef Setup
12–4 PM — Tasting & Voting & Silent Auction
4 PM — Winner Winner, Chili Dinner! Winners Announced.
4–6 PM — Finish That Chili! Play games, listen to tunes, & hang out by the river.
